Sharrona and I can now visit face to face when ever we want! She found this great internet video software called ooVoo. You should all get on it so we can see each other and have free conversations over the internet. You can get up to 3 people on a call at once. Actually up to 6 while you are in your first 30 days of use... for free. Here is what it looks like.

October 18, 2008 we all went to Phoenix for Amber's baby shower. Sam's mom, Lena, hosted the party at her house in Scottsdale. I think it was the nicest baby shower I've ever been to. Lena made little dresses out of scrapbooking paper for the name badges. And the cake was beautiful! Everything with Amber's colors: Black & White, Pink and a little lime green.
The food was fantastic and Lena made a table cloth and runners as well as covering a chair or Amber to sit on.
Amoung the guests were Amber's grandparents - Tom and Susie, aunts - Darla, Diana, Carolyn and Jenniffer, cousins - Marcae and Marissa, sister - Cynthia, my old friend Cindi Welfringer, and several of Lena's good friends.
Everyone loved the name badges. Even Sam, the Baby Daddy.

The Matthews
Amber and I are sitting here enjoying all the family blogs and decided to create one of our own. So, I'm starting the Matthews family blog. I don't know how often I'll get on here, but we'll give it a try.
Our family moved to Las Vegas in April of 2006 so that we could all live together. After 5 years of Tim and I living in different cities, we decided that we would try living in the same house! Las Vegas has been good to us and we enjoy our little northwest corner of the city. Tim's business is doing well (http://www.concretetexturingnv.com/) and we have aclaimated to desert living again. I do miss the 4 seasons of Utah, but the good weather days in Las Vegas are very good. I've got the best of both worlds. I work from home the majority of the time and commute up to Salt Lake City at least once a month. So with any luck, I get my snow fix when I travel up to Utah and then come home to a very mild desert winter.
Sam is now part of our family too. He and Amber are expecting our first grandchild on December 3. We can't wait to meet Addisyn!
